Dr. Heather Tracy

Dr. Heather Tracy is the Executive Director of New Summit Academy Costa Rica, a therapeutic boarding school for adolescent boys, which she co-founded in 2005. She also co-founded The Bridge Costa Rica, a gap program for young adults, and Sibanye South Africa, an individualized gap program based outside Capetown. In 2019, she will open a new nontraditional boarding school called SIGA – Supported Immersion Global Academy – in Asheville, North Carolina. Dr. Tracy has over 16 years of experience working with at-risk adolescents. A Presidential Scholar at Saint Louis University, she graduated with an Honors BA in Psychology and went on to earn her Masters of Education in human development and psychology from Harvard Graduate School of Education. In 2014, she completed her Doctorate of Education in K-12 Leadership with a dissertation focusing on the social and emotional foundations of learning.
